Get your elementary-aged youth involved in the church early! This weekend camp is an experience that campers will never forget! Campers spend the day swimming, canoeing, hiking and learning about their faith through Bible study and reflection. Small cabin groups ensure a personal and memorable camp experience!

This retreat will look at the Reformation and the lives that were involved in this dynamic time. Martin Luther is clearly the central figure in this process, but we will also get to know Philip Melanchthon, Johann Tetzel, Duke Frederick the Wise, Johann Eck and many others. Large group presentations will be centered around the movie "Martin Luther: Heretic" and learning opportunities will be centered on small group experiences, assisted by the adult chaperones from each congregation.**

**No previous knowledge of this retreat material is necessary for the chaperones to assist in leading.

GOD'S SPA FOR GIRLS

This weekend retreat for middle school aged girls is a time for friends, fun, and facials! Come together and enjoy time away from school, cell phones, homework, and boys. Meet new friends and treat yourself like the princess you know you are. Weekend activities may include: lots of pampering, devotions, and several spa-type activities such as facials, hand/foot scrubs, hair styling and skin care. Recreational time will be spent playing games, enjoying the sun, hiking, canoeing or paddle boating. Devotional time will be spent learning and deepening your faith. Meals will offer a variety of healthy choices. We will conclude the weekend with Sunday morning worship and a light brunch.

RIVER RAT RAMBLE Day Trip

This canoe trip is a great way to spend a "lazy river" Saturday! We'll meet at the canoe outfitter in Wimauma for a day of worship, fellowship, canoeing and fun! Enjoy the sites of the beautiful Little Manatee River, a barbeque lunch (provided) and meet some new friends.

RIVER RAT RAMBLE WEEKEND

Join congregational youth groups (6th grade and older) from across the state for a weekend of canoeing, workshops, fellowship and worship. This event is very laid back and "program light." There will be plenty of scheduled free-time for congregational activities and togetherness.

You must submit your registrations as a congregational youth group, which includes at least 1adult per 10 youth. This event is extremely popular and fills up very quickly. In order to ensure your group's spot, you must register early. We have very limited space, and when that space is full, no additional registrations will be accepted. Cabin space will be filled on a first-come first-served basis. Subsequent registrations will be assigned to tent spaces.

Volleyball Marathon

The 2009 Volleyball Marathon is sure to be full of fun, fellowship, worship and plenty of volleyball! Now in its sixth season, the Volleyball Marathon has grown each year, and become a staple youth event in Southwest Florida. This event is open to middle and high school youth teams (no skill or practice required!) from congregations within the Florida-Bahamas Synod. The 2008 reigning champion is Gateway Trinity, Fort Myers - try to unseat them in 2009!

*ALL GROUPS/PARTICIPANTS SHOULD REGISTER IN ADVANCE and pay the registration fee. Once you've registered with us, you'll receive a confirmation packet, including your pledge sheet. Secure pledges up until the event and WIN PRIZES for collecting the most pledges. Each team is expected to bring 1-2 chaperones.
