Travel, live and work with a team of counselors, providing a Day Camp program to congregations all across the state of Florida! Day Camp Counselors are the heart of LOMF’s ministry and spend their summer meeting new people, staying with host families and spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to children from Jacksonville to Miami!

LOMF’s outreach programs include Servant Week in Key West, Beach Camp in Venice and Surf Camp in Boca Raton! Exciting programs that take counselors to the beach each day! Campers and counselors do work projects for community organizations, play in the sun and spend time in Bible Study and devotion. Teach your group of campers about service to others, and learn a few things along the way – maybe even learn how to surf!

Luther Springs is a fresh, new camp with state-of-the-art facilities, but don’t let that fool you! Luther Springs Counselors will spend an intense summer living in a Christian community and teaching children of all ages about the Gospel. Teach kids how to cook a meal, build a fire, play crazy games! Most of all, give an experience of community and group-building.

Program Coordinator

The Program Coordinator is the “behind the scenes” person who makes each camp site run. Responsible for supervision of a team of counselors, coordination and public relations with congregations and program design and implementation. Program Coordinators must be at least 20 years of age.

Aquatics Staff

Water activities are the most popular part of a camp program! So, the Aquatics Staff is a position of great responsibility. Must have Red Cross Lifeguard, First Aid and CPR certifications. In some cases, certifications may be provided. Aquatics staff also may be required to assume counselor responsibilities.

Aquatics Coordinator/Luther Springs Assistant

The Aquatics Coordinator supervises the Aquatics Staff and all water activities. Assists in determining aquatics safety policy and procedure. Must have Red Cross Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR, and Water Safety Instructor or Lifeguard Instructor certifications. Aquatics Coordinator is a Leadership Staff position and may be asked to take on additional responsibilities. Must be at least 20 years of age.

Servant Week Cook

The Servant Week cook prepares all meals for participants in the Servant Week program. 3 meals each day for up to 50 participants, the cook is everybody’s favorite person! Must have experience cooking for groups.

Health Officer

The Health Officer is based at Luther Springs, but is responsible for the health care of participants and staff at all LOMF camp sites. Always available by phone, the Health Officer assists with training in medical procedures and gives care and guidance for campers and staff. RN license is required.

Special Skills

Special Skills staff will be responsible for specialized programming in their area. Skill areas may include archery, arts & crafts, swimming and sailing. Special Skills staff will also be responsible for other staff duties.

Support Staff

These are the people that really make camp run! Support Staff assist the Camp Director with a variety of tasks, from pool maintenance and facilities repair to camp cleaning and meal preparation.
