Program Coordinator

The Program Coordinator is the “behind the scenes” person who makes each camp site run. Responsible for supervision of a team of counselors, coordination and public relations with congregations and program design and implementation. Program Coordinators must be at least 20 years of age.
Aquatics Staff
Water activities are the most popular part of a camp program! So, the Aquatics Staff is a position of great responsibility. Must have Red Cross Lifeguard, First Aid and CPR certifications. In some cases, certifications may be provided. Aquatics staff also may be required to assume counselor responsibilities.
Aquatics Coordinator/Luther Springs Assistant

The Aquatics Coordinator supervises the Aquatics Staff and all water activities. Assists in determining aquatics safety policy and procedure. Must have Red Cross Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR, and Water Safety Instructor or Lifeguard Instructor certifications. Aquatics Coordinator is a Leadership Staff position and may be asked to take on additional responsibilities. Must be at least 20 years of age.
Servant Week Cook
The Servant Week cook prepares all meals for participants in the Servant Week program. 3 meals each day for up to 50 participants, the cook is everybody’s favorite person! Must have experience cooking for groups.
Health Officer
The Health Officer is based at Luther Springs, but is responsible for the health care of participants and staff at all LOMF camp sites. Always available by phone, the Health Officer assists with training in medical procedures and gives care and guidance for campers and staff. RN license is required.
Special Skills
Special Skills staff will be responsible for specialized programming in their area. Skill areas may include archery, arts & crafts, swimming and sailing. Special Skills staff will also be responsible for other staff duties.
Support Staff
These are the people that really make camp run! Support Staff assist the Camp Director with a variety of tasks, from pool maintenance and facilities repair to camp cleaning and meal preparation.

Lutheran Outdoor
