Retreats
LOMF offers a variety of program experiences for people of all ages! Entering into a Christ-centered community, participants learn about themselves and others through Bible reflection, discussion groups, servant projects and recreational activities. Activities may include study groups, swimming, canoeing, sailing, arts and crafts, group games, challenge course activities, environmental education and singing.
All of our programs are designed to provide an experience of Christian community – one in which caring, forgiveness and generosity are the centerpieces of our interactions. This goal is reflected in all that we do.
So take an opportunity to experience some of LOMF’s programming – come to Luther Springs, or visit us at one of our off-site programs, and experience the peace and renewal of a time and place “set apart” for Christian community.
GOALS OF RETREAT PROGRAMMING
LOMF’s year-round programming is designed to give each participant an experience of living in a Christian community, built on caring, trust and forgiveness. We hope to offer meaningful and fun experiences for adults and youth to encounter God and others in a retreat setting. Having experienced such an amazing testament to God’s love, participants return home energized with the knowledge that our broken world can show us a glimpse of unconditional love through the love and fellowship of others.
STAFF AND RESOURCES
For our year-round youth programs, we draw from the boundless energy of former summer staff members, young adult volunteers, and YARPs (Young Adult Resource Persons). Our adult retreats are run by our qualified full-time staff members, often in coordination with resource persons in specialized fields of ministry. All of our program support people are highly trained and prepared to help provide a very special program for every participant in LOMF programming. If you’re interested in getting involved, check out our employment and volunteer opportunities for more information.
